You know you are a PerthHacker if you wonder about this every morning on your way to work. Is it faster to get to work by train or by car? Channel 7 news had this report where two reporters left the same spot in Clarkson at 7:20am to find out who can get to the city first and by how much.
Some interesting stats mentioned included an estimated 7,538 people catch the train to the city each morning whilst 53,000 people drive in from the south on the Kwinana Freeway and 43,000 people drive in from the north on the Mitchell Freeway.
The result of their experiment was that the train got to the city 18 minutes before the reporter in the car. What shortcuts do you have for getting to work in record time?
