0.08 = Two Months License Disqualification

Starting on 1 August, 2012, if a person is caught by police in WA with a blood alcohol level of greater than 0.08, they will lose their license for two months. If you need a driver's license to get to work, or you don't fancy relying on Perth's dodgy public transport, you better start thinking about how much you drink. WA police have also started putting out internet ads to get the message out to Perth internet users. Not sure what you think of the new laws but for me, anything that makes Perth streets safer is a good move.
